In addition to my own studio practice, for the past five years I have also served as Program Manager at the Kala Art Institute, a print and digital media studio and gallery located in Berkeley. This position has provided me with the opportunity to develop a number of exhibitions that have explored a wide range of subjects and media such as the intersection of digital media and fiber arts; models and simulations of architecture and consumer products; forensic imaging and geographical mapping; plus new approaches to drawing, painting and assorted print processes. A number of these exhibitions have included artists’ talks and gallery discussions. Other recent curatorial projects have included a two-part exhibition presented at The Lab in San Francisco. Fabulandia: Terra explored futuristic landscapes and Fabulandia: Fauna presented the odd creatures that might inhabit this new terrain.
